Hi, my name is Mayte!

I'm a Dane in Spain. My father is Spanish and my mother Danish. After completing university and after 4 years working in Copenhagen, I was expatriated to Madrid for the Danish company A.P. Moeller/Maersk Line. When I was 23 years old, I left Copenhagen to come and live in Spain and I have lived here ever since. I am passionate about sharing and showing off my favourite places around Spain; including historic villages, the cafés, restaurants, Roman ruins, modern buildings, different routes and Spain's beautiful nature. I enjoy very much spending time in nature, doing sports outdoor and I love learning about the Spanish history and culture. By combining the Danish "hygge" with the Spanish passion, I look forward to sharing this beautiful country with you.

miraway translated the Danish docufiction movie: "A Polar Year", which had its premiere the 1st of March 2019 in movie theaters all over Spain.
